Thanks for your interest in joining SFGE’s new “Street Team” to attend events and help promote Southern-Fried Gaming Expo. This helps our event gain exposure to other fandoms while giving you a chance to explore another con! It is our intent that there will be at least two volunteers present to allow Street Team members flexibility of movement while attending each event and not to be anchored to the table/booth for entire shifts. Please note: Street Team participation is separate from volunteering for regular on-site Southern-Fried Trooper shifts and credit hours do not carry over for traditional SFGE perks.
Potential duties and responsibilities of Street Team members:
- Booth/table set up (this might include a large expandable banner, TV screen, gaming system, etc)
- Being knowledgeable about SFGE to speak to guests and answer questions about our event
- Handing out postcards/stickers/swag to attendees
- Assist in breaking-down booth/table
What you receive:
- Event badge for the event you are attending
- Parking fee reimbursement, if necessary
- Food stipend (per 4 hour increments)
- Early sign-up access for Southern-Fried Trooper volunteer shifts at SFGE
