Think you’ve got what it takes to brave the heat? Join us as a contestant in this fiery face-off! Competitors will tackle increasingly scorching peppers until only the toughest remain. If there’s more than one fiery finalist, a nail-biting timed challenge will crown the ultimate champion. Milk might be on hand, but there’s no cooling off until you tap out or triumph! The last one standing will walk away with $100 cash, a weekend pass to SFGE 2027, and an awesome SFGE swag pack. We’ve got some cool consolation prizes, too. Oreo Speed Run

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Oreo Speed Run Challenge! Each contestant will face off with 25 Oreo cookies, and the first person to finish them all claims victory! This is your chance to dive into a fun food contest minus the heat! Water is permitted and provided to keep those cookie crumbles sliding down smoothly. The swiftest cookie cruncher will snag $50 cash and a fabulous SFGE swag pack. Of course, we won’t let the rest leave empty-handed – there are consolation prizes up for grabs too. Ready, set, dunk! Contestants MUST possess a valid 2026 membership.

Contest time Saturday NOON. Do not sign up if you can’t meet the schedule requirements. Preference is given to entirely new applicants this year. Contestants must be 18 years of age or older.
