What is the parking situation?

We have reserved the Cobb Galleria parking decks, plus the Renaissance Waverly hotel has some surface lot parking available. Both are paid. More details here.

Is this a family-friendly event?

Absolutely! We encourage families with children of all ages to attend. What a better way to connect as a family than through a love of gaming?! We do have some adult-only programming, but that is limited to late night and will be labeled as such.

Do you have a harassment policy?

Yep, right here. We want all of our guests to feel safe and have a good time.

How much do the games cost to play?

Whether you buy your membership for just the day or the entire weekend, once you’re inside, almost all games are free to play at no additional cost. Play as many games as you’d like as long as you like, just remember to be courteous and give others the opportunity to play if someone is waiting for their turn.

I love playing games, but is there anything else to do a the show?

Glad you asked! In addition to tabletop and 250 arcade, pinball, and console games, we have plenty to do that doesn’t involve actually playing games. From live music performances to costume contests, we’re always adding something new. Be sure to check out our great speakers and moderated panel discussions along with our HUGE tabletop library, or help out families in need by bidding in our silent charity auction. Want to see something else? Just let us know!

I want to buy a game for my home. Will there be games for sale at the Expo?

Yes! Many of the games you’ll see at the show will be available for purchase directly from their owners as a private sale. If you purchase a game, we only ask that you not remove it until the end of the expo on Sunday afternoon so everyone can enjoy the games.

I’m bringing a game to the expo, can I offer it up for sale?

Yes!

Do I have to register as a “vendor” to sell my arcade/pinball game?

No. You can bring any number of working games to sell at the expo as long as they are set on free play for all to enjoy until the show ends on Sunday afternoon. Vendor packages are usually reserved for businesses who sell more than just games or who wish to have a more “visible” presence with signage and a central location.

Is there food available at the venue?

Yes! In addition to the hotel’s restaurant, there are plenty of dining options in and around the Cobb Galleria. The nearby Cumberland mall also has some quick and affordable dining. Check out the list of options here.

Is there shuttle service to the hotel from the airport?

Unfortunately, no. To get there on MARTA, take a red or gold line train to the Midtown MARTA station and transfer to bus 12. The mall is at the end of the line, about a 45-minute ride. You can also take the Cobb Community Transit (CCT) bus 10 from the Arts Center station to get to the mall. Or you could simply take an Uber or Lyft!
