Thanks for coming to Southern-Fried Gaming Expo (SFGE)! SFGE is a private event. A membership serves as a limited, revocable license to attend SFGE, which may be revoked or revised at any time at the sole discretion of  SFGE/Player One, LLC. All badge holders and licenses granted thereto are subject to the rules and regulations of SFGE. 

• A badge may be revoked and a badge holder ejected from the convention for disorderly conduct, a violation of the law or rules, harassment policy, or in the sole discretion of an SFGE official.
• Southern-Fried Gaming Expo may apply additional fees and limitations for certain activities.
• Your badge must be worn at all times in the contracted convention space or you will be denied access to those areas.
• The badge holder acknowledges that by appearing at Southern-Fried Gaming Expo he or she may be recorded (by video, sound, photo, or otherwise) and consents to such recording and its publishing and re-broadcasting. In exchange solely for this license, the badge holder, in accepting a badge: (i) releases SFGE from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right, or any other claim or cause of action of any kind; (ii) authorizes and permits Player One, LLC and its designees to use for any and all purposes his or her name, voice, and likeness and all reproduction thereof in any and all forms and in all media now or hereafter known in perpetuity; (iii) understands they are prevented from taking, recording, or creating film, or digital pictures, videos, tapes, sound recordings, or any other visual or auditory recreation of any kind whatsoever, of any SFGE guest, member, volunteer, or employee, or of any SFGE event, including but not limited to any SFGE seminar, session, or performance, for any commercial use, or for the solicitation of funds for any commercial or other purpose, without the express written permission of Player One, LLC; (iv) agrees to comply with all Southern-Fried Gaming Expo rules and regulations.
• Announced guests or events are subject to change without any advanced notice.
• This badge is non-refundable and non transferable . Lost badges will not be replaced.
• Under Georgia law, there is no liability for an injury or death of an individual entering these premises if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19. You are assuming this risk by entering these premises. SFGE cannot and will not be held responsible should you contract an illness while attending our event.

Harassment Policy

Behavior which makes you feel unwelcome, unsafe, or uncomfortable, is HARASSMENT. The Southern-Fried Gaming Expo (SFGE) harassment policy applies to EVERYONE who attends our events: staff, vendors, professionals, guests, security, and attendees.

SFGE does not allow harassment of any kind, and has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY against it. Harassment is defined as, but not limited to, behaviors such as stalking, offensive comments, hate speech, bathroom policing, inappropriate or unwelcome physical contact, recording or taking pictures without permission, and repeatedly disrupting conversations you have been asked to leave. The aforementioned comments or hate speech could be in relation to: age, race or ethnicity, color, citizenship or national origin, relationship status, sexual orientation, gender identity or presentation, appearance, clothing, body size, pregnancy, disability, or religion. This list may not be exhaustive and other actions may be deemed harassment at the discretion of SFGE.

Remember, cosplay is not consent: just because someone is in costume, it doesn’t give you permission to take a picture or touch their costume. Ask first, and if they tell you no, respect that.

If you feel harassed or see someone else being harassed, notify a staff member immediately. You are also within your rights to ask the harasser to stop on your own. Once notified, SFGE staff will take any action necessary to stop the behavior, up to and including membership being revoked and expulsion from convention premises. We will also take steps to help you feel safe again at your request, such as escorting you to a place you feel safe, contacting your friends or family for you, or contacting Cobb County police.

SFGE’s goal is to create a fun, safe, welcoming, event where gamers of all kinds can come together and GAME. We want you to not only have the most amazing weekend ever, but to experience it in an environment where you are safe and accepted.
