Curious about parking for the Southern-Fried Gaming Expo? Fear not! We’ve got you covered. While we still encourage folks to carpool, there should be ample space available for parking on site. Additionally, there are some other commute alternatives available you may want to consider. However, we always encourage our attendees to arrive early and stay late to avoid frustration and traffic congestion.
Cobb Convention Center Parking
Parking at the Cobb Convention Center CCC (Formally Cobb Galleria) is easy! We have negotiated a $15 per day rate for our guests. Just tell the attendant that you are part of the Southern-Fried Gaming Expo. These lots are reserved JUST for SFGE guests. When one lot fills up, another will be opened. The Cobb Galleria has 1,800 self-parking spaces, they will fill the GREEN deck first and then continue to other area. Visit the Cobb Convention Center website to learn more.
Waverly Parking
Our host hotel offers limited parking options. Parking spots for guests with room block reservations is a negotiated $15 per night fee. However attendees who are not guests at the hotel are subject to higher rates.
Additional Parking Lots
Several nearby lots are available via Spot Hero. There are several office parking lots that MAY provide paid parking opportunities, but we can’t be certain they’re open. Only Cobb Galleria and Renaissance Waverly parking lots are contracted with SFGE.
Cumberland Mall
Warning: We do not advise guests to park at the Cumberland Mall as they do not allow event parking and have been known to tow cars. Park there at your own risk.
Atlanta Braves Advisory!!!
Please be aware that the Atlanta Braves have home games at Truist Park throughout the Southern-Fried Gaming Expo weekend, with evening games on Thursday, July 30, Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, plus an afternoon game on Sunday, August 2. These games can significantly increase traffic around I-75, I-285, Cobb Parkway, and the Battery Atlanta area before and after first pitch. If you’re traveling to the Expo during these times, we strongly recommend allowing extra travel time or, if possible, planning your arrival outside of the busiest traffic periods to help avoid delays. (GOOD NEWS: SFGE 2027 will not be affected by the Braves, they are away)
